With physically scars or marks, they will look disfigured or different which may cause people to judge and discriminate against them, and it is very unplesant for them. Furthermore, most maids are young and are not married yet, thus when they have ugly scars, they might not be able to find a partner and get married. Physically abuse do not just mean scars, it could also be permanent damage to an organ or limb, which will lead to diificulties in their life. Such as eye damage, the victims would not be able to see well again, or damage to their legs can also lead to them having much diificulties walking in their daily life.

Mental impacts from being abused could lead to traumas, that will affect their everyday life as they become too cautious of people, after being victims of being abused by people. They may fear communicating with strangers and hence lock themselves in their house. They also may not be able to start working again, due to being scared of strangers. In addition,they will not work as a maid again after being abused by their ex-employer as they fear being a victim again, even though their main profession is being a maid.

Overall, this could lead the victims of maid abuse to become unstable. Hence, again maid abuse is not a small matter or should ever be overlooked.
